Dental Examination

During the dental examination, we take the time to listen to your wants, needs and any other aspects of your dental care that you wish to discuss. We believe this open communication helps us understand our patients better than anyone else.

Our dental examinations are an open environment for you to discuss any of your wants and needs and together we will fulfil those desires.

During our first appointment we perform an examination of the face, head and neck to look for gum disease, tooth decay and screenings of oral cancer. We investigate this through digital x rays and intra-oral photographs. We'll also fully assess your medical and dental history.

At Chellaston Dental our main focus is on prevention, as the saying goes "Prevention is better than cure." Your gums are the foundation to your oral health and with approximately 97% of the population suffering with a degree of gum disease we highly recommend booking in for examinations so we can provide you with a treatment plan to ensure you have healthy gums and teeth.
